How does the school check and review the progress made by pupils with SEN?
Teachers continuously monitor the progress of children in their class through ongoing assessment. Meetings take place between the teacher, SENCO and Raising Standards Leader (RSL) on a termly basis to discuss the progress of children with SEND. The SENCO then meets with other SEND professionals on a termly basis to discuss the progress of children on the SEND register.
As a school we use PiXL to track to the progress of children and class teachers will provide termly information about your child’s progress.
