Extra - Curricular

We aim to create lifelong learners and our extensive range of extra-curricular activities provides exceptional opportunities for our pupils to develop areas of expertise and further their interests. At breakfast club, pupils can enjoy a creative start to the day whilst enjoying a healthy breakfast. We have very successful sporting team and pupils are given the opportunity to develop their creative, musical, technological and theatrical aspirations with various clubs throughout the school.

In addition to curriculum based educational visits throughout the year, there are popular residential trips to Alton Castle in Year 5 and to Plas Dol-y-Moch in Year 6. These are enriching experiences which give the children long-lasting memories of their time at Corpus Christi.

School Meals

Breakfast Club

Families are invited to apply for a place at our popular Breakfast Club. Payable weekly, we provide a healthy breakfast and fun activities before school, serving a variety of foods from cereals and fruit juices to croissants, toast and pancakes. At the beginning of the school day children are then safely delivered to their classrooms.

Mid-morning snack

The whole school receives a free piece of fruit on a daily basis which supports our ‘Healthy Schools’ status and helps to sustain concentration.

Lunch

School meals are available daily and our hard working staff ensure that children receive a varied and nutritious menu. Alternatively children are welcome to bring their own healthy packed lunch and drink. The school encourages children to make healthy choices and often takes part in healthy eating initiatives.

Here are the current lunch time menus. The menu's alternate each week, do check the top of each menu to see which week we are currently in.
